Cookies, Web Beacon Other Technologies

As mentioned above, we collect information from your visits to our websites and the use of our SIGNOVE Cloud services and software products, to help us gather statistics on usage and effectiveness, customize your experience, customize our interactions with you and improve our products and services . SIGNOVE does this through the use of several technologies, including scripts, tags, Local Shared Objects (Flash cookies), Local Storage beacons (HTML5) and “cookies”.

What are cookies and why are they used?

A cookie is data that a website can send to your browser and that can be stored on your computer as a tag that identifies your computer. Although cookies are normally used only to measure the use of the website (such as the number of visitors and the duration of the visit) and effectiveness (such as the topics that visitors are most interested in) and to facilitate navigation or use and as such , they are not associated with any personal information, they are also sometimes used to personalize the experience of a known visitor to a website, being associated with profile information or user preferences. Over time, this information provides valuable knowledge to help improve the user experience.

When third parties present their products / services on a SIGNOVE website, SIGNOVE may produce anonymous aggregated information and share it with them to help them understand how many users have interacted with or shown interest in their products / services.

Generally, cookies are categorized as “session” cookies or “persistent” cookies. Session cookies help you to navigate the website efficiently, tracking your progress from page to page, so that you are not prompted for information already provided during the current visit or information needed to complete a transaction. Session cookies are stored in temporary memory and deleted when the web browser is closed. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, store user preferences for current and successive visits. They are saved on the device’s hard drive and remain valid after the browser is restarted. We use persistent cookies, for example, to record your choice of language and country location.

How to express privacy preferences regarding the use of cookies

When visiting our websites or online services, you may be able to set your preferences regarding cookies and other similar technologies using the options and tools provided by your web browser or by SIGNOVE. If a cookie manager has been implemented by SIGNOVE, it will be displayed on your first visit to our website. Refer to the “Tools” heading (or something similar) in your specific browser to find information about cookie control. In most cases, you can configure your browser to notify you before receiving a cookie, giving you the option to decide whether to accept it or not. Web beacons or other technologies

These technologies can be used on several pages on SIGNOVE websites. When a visitor accesses these pages, an unidentifiable notice of the visit is generated, and can be processed by us or our suppliers. These web beacons often work in conjunction with cookies. If you do not want your cookie information to be associated with your visits to these pages or the use of these products, configure your browser to disable cookies or disable cookies on the product itself, respectively. By disabling cookies, the web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages; However,
